Insects for Food, Feed, Circular Bioeconomy & Livelihoods

Curriculum vitae

Scientific innovation creates impact when it is translated into practice and shaped through collaboration. If you are interested in my research or exploring opportunities around insect-based food and feed systems, I would be pleased to connect. Please get in touch via email (see above) or through the platforms below.

Outreach

Science Communication

Science should not be confined to academic journals or laboratories shelves, it should be accessible, engaging, and capable of driving real-world change. Through science communication and outreach, I  translate research on insects, food systems, and sustainability into knowledge that resonates with diverse audiences, from farmers and students to policymakers and industry stakeholders.
I write broad-based science articles about edible insects. This year, I wrote an article for Wikifarmer addressing some important factors to consider in selecting suitable insect species for mass production as feed. This article has been translated into Spanish and published alone side the English version.
